Since 1905, our grandparent organization, Rotary International has led the effort to permanently eradicate polio. We have been at the forefront of nearly every major polio breakthrough.
Why do we mention Rotary International? The reason for this being is because Rotary International is the parent organization of the Rotary Chapters around the world and the Metro Rotary is our parent organization. Metro Rotaract was started because of the age gap between Metro Rotary and the young working professionals in Hawaii.
Rotary International -> Metro Rotary -> Metro Rotaract
Our Mission
We strive to make a difference with the Metro Rotary to help our community and our members to grow. By directly being involved in the community, we believe we can be at the forefront of the change to move Hawaii forward.
Breakfast Meetings
Being a part of Metro Rotaract means that we are able to attend the Metro Rotary International breakfast meetings with established business professionals who are Rotarians. Not only are we able to attend their meetings, but we get to attend at a subsidized rate of $10! Your first meeting that you attend is on us! Each meeting has a different speaker talking about a new topic. Some of our past speakers have been from Blue Startups, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Make A Wish Foundation, Howard Hughes and more!
